Lanell, our doula, who provided encouragement, support, a beautifully calm presence, and the most delicious smelling massage oil. I love this woman. If you're reading this and you're pregnant, please please please get a doula to join you at your birth. Lanell helped turn a sanitized hospital room into a sacred birthing space. My birth experience was pure magic, and Lanell played a huge part in that.
