It's Time...

Well, it's nearly 5am and we're heading off to the hospital.

Contractions are coming fast and furious--3-5 minutes apart, lasting about a minute each. They hurt.

I was feeling what I thought were just extra-uncomfortable Braxton-Hicks contractions starting at about 9pm. I guess they were more than that! At 2am a big contraction woke me up, and I came out into the living room to try to decide if this was really labor or not. After about an hour of those, I was convinced enough to wake up Owen. We've since called our doula Lanell and called Dr. Love, and both gave us the go-ahead to head on in...

So off we go.

I don't know where the pain ends and the awe begins...
